This part of the site is publically available. There are many other facilities and tools, but you need at least to be a registered user to have access to them.

However there are a few functions that you can use, while not being registered.

  • On the left top of the page, you’ll find the French and New Zealand flags: the site is multilingual. These two flags are the language switchers: clicking on the French flag will immediately display the actual page in French, and the New Zealand one will revert to NZ English.

  • Below the flags, there is a first menu line:

    • AFNT Site: this open a new window in your browser giving you access to the present AFNT web site.

    • Subscribe to Petit Mot : for subscribing or unsubscribing to the AFNT Newsletter

    • Petits Mots : for viewing former AFNT Newsletters

  • Below that is the AFNT logo.

  • Then just below there is a 2nd menu line. If you click on one of the items, you’ll have access to the following:

    • Login : this displays a full page login form. It is functionally identical to the smaller form on the right.  You only need to know your Username and Password to use login forms; "Secret key" and "Web Authentication" can be used later by members having chosen to extend their personal access security.

    •  If you are an AFNT active member, you should have received a mail documenting what is your Username/Password, otherwise please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. After entering them, you’ll just need to click on Log in to continue. If you need, you can ask the system to send you a reminder email by clicking on “Forgot Username ?” or “Forgot Username”. If you check “Remember me”, your browser should remember your Username/Password entries. Other improved authentifications, “Secret key” and “Web Authetification”, are described under the registered user’s help menus.

    • Yearly subscription ? : this shifts to a new page giving the possibility to either renew an existing subscription for the new period, or to register as a new member. There are two subscription plans to choose: either “Single” for one membership or “Couple” for two. Details on how to use these forms are given through a sub-menu available by clicking on the arrow situated on the right of the Help menu item:

    • Help : displays the present page. You can now try to display help on How to subscribe, by clicking on the .

NB: after having logged in, both “login” items change to “logout” on the menu and the form.

Some pages are longer than one screen and you can display them, as usual, by scrolling down. At their bottom, you’ll find a search function that is usefull to find some articles on the site, depending on your access rights. Only the public ones will be found when not logged in.
